Who Am I?

I’m a mother to one tiny person, who was born November 2018. Having my child made me so in love with birth and that super scary postpartum period. I’m super in to baby wearing, and have a bit of an addiction to buying carriers due to it but I know some pretty easy basic ties for wraps. I’m a breastfeeding mama, and due to that I’m a huge advocate for breast feeders through and through. I support parents and their choices in birth and in feeding, and I understand that it is not always easy. I aim to be there for anybody who ever needs a hand, or even just a supportive word as that is how parents make it unscathed in these tricky times. I have great listening skills and am entirely empathetic to how much information is out there that makes being pregnant, having a baby and raising that baby so hard now. I am dedicated to understanding everything I can about others’ experiences and what they have learned leading up to birth, and aim to share every little bit of knowledge that I have learned along the way with the  families I work with.

Why Do I Do This?

I am passionate about pregnancy, birth, and everything postpartum. I love parents, and of course their children, and want to empower those around me to feel confident in their choices. I did not have the birth I envisioned, but through the fantastic support people around me during the aforementioned stages I got to feel good about what did happen and was able to continue on after the birth being sure about the choices I was making.
With the proper understanding, empathy, kindness and time I know I can help  you feel great {or at the very least at peace} with whatever is thrown your way during this most magical, scary, beautiful time in your life. Nothing is off limits in regards to what you can come to me with, I am supportive of every little aspect of this journey and want you to feel supported in every way possible.

My Goals For Us

I want to help you feel confident in your skin, to feel empowered during birth, and to be able to look back on your birth experience with a smile. There is so much confusing information and lingo out there during all stages – pregnancy, birth, and postpartum – and my goal in being a part of the experience with you is to make you feel secure in what is happening, what will happen, and to be able to look back on the experience feeling like you got to have a say in your birth.
